FILMING
PERMITS
For
any shooting of feature, commercial, music-video or documentary, the filming
permits are easy and free of charges throughout Morocco.
As
soon we receive your script, synopsis or storyboard, the intended filming period
and the filming locations, MARRAKESH FILMS will undertake the shooting permit
application.
For
commercial, music-video or documentary which, the filming permit is delivered in
less than two hours, 48 h for features films.
CUSTOMS
There
is no restrictions to getting any equipment and granted import duty on row film
stock brought into Morocco.
All
customs formalities related to temporary import of film equipment are ensured by
MARRAKESH FILMS.
Before
the equipment's arrival in Morocco, just send us a copy list in advance for
clearance with the original purchase values, serial numbers, provenance and date
of arrival including flight details if arrival by air.
On
the arrival in Morocco the customs officers may stamp your passport with
notification of any equipment you are carrying. If they do so, you must ensure
that your passport is stamped back out again on departure.
Although
this subtropical climate is similar to that of other maritime regions of
California and Southern Europe, it varies considerably according to different
regions. August is the hottest month. It begins to cool down and can become cold
in the evening in the months between December and February.
The
air conditioning unit in your hotel room also acts as a heater.
